Vingette Effect

To further improve our trailer we have decided to use the vingette effect that is available to us on Final Cut Pro. We felt this was a good idea as we were watching trailers submitted in the past, and this was one of the editing techniques used. We feel that it will help the audience to see the contrast between the Victorian era shots and the modern day ones with even more clarity. As well as this it will also make it appear that Sarah is 'looking' into her past, as the edges of the shots with the vignette effect will be blurred.
